You love the raw visceral feel of stomping on the gas pedal and being pushed back into the seat of your Mitsubishi Evolution X. All that boost in your 4B11T generates a lot of crankcase pressure which can lead to pre-detonation and be detrimental to performance and longevity of your engine.

Our all-new MAP Catch Can for the Evo X is a full vent to atmosphere catch can designed to eliminate this crankcase pressure. Venting the crankcase properly makes seals & gaskets last longer and reduces oil accumulation in intercoolers and intake piping to ensure your intercooler is operating at an optimal level. It also reduces the resistance against your pistons and is able to free up some hp that your factory system robs you of.

Our sleek cast design replaces your plastic coolant overflow tank and doubles as your coolant overflow tank and catch can, all with an easy single bolt install.

Evo X Catch Can / Coolant Tank Features

Single bolt-in design with no major modifications or special tools needed for install

Sleek cast aluminum design with shared factory level coolant overflow tank

Built-in level float for easy to check coolant level

High-Quality Squirrelly Performance fittings and lines included

-10AN lines for reduced airflow velocity

Drain kit available for easy emptying of the system with no hassle or specialty tools needed

100% Direct Fit

Assembled in the USA

Evo X Oil Catch Can Benefits

Relieves damaging crankcase pressure

Improved life of seals and gaskets

Reduces oil coating the inside of the intercooler and piping

Frees up hp from relieving crankcase pressure

Applications

2008 - 2015 Mitsubishi Evolution X (All valve cover options included with every kit)

What's In The Box?

1 - -10 AN Line (Short)

1 - -10 AN Line (Long)

1 - Assembled Evo X Catch Can Coolant Expansion Tank

2 - 12mm vacuum caps

1 - 10mm vacuum cap

1 - 12mm spring clamp

1 - Clamp on filter

1 - 2ft 5/16 coolant hose

1 - Vent Cap with Drain Hose and Mounting Clamp

1 - Catch Can Combo Tank Lid

1 - Catch Can Combo Tank Body

2 - Stainless Filler for tank

1 - M8 Spring Lock Washer

1 - M8 Flanged Lock Nut

1 - M8x1.25x120mm Socket Head Bolt

9 - M6x1x20mm Socket Head Screws

1 - Cork/Carbon Tube Level Float

1 - Large O-Ring Stock

1 - 1/4NPT to 5/16 Barb Elbow

1 - 2ft Rubber Hose

1 - Vented Coolant Cap

1 - MAP Press in Valve cover fitting (Metal Valve Cover)

1 - MAP Thread on clamping Valve cover fitting (Plastic valve cover)

1 - MAP Threaded PCV Fitting (All Covers)

1 - -4AN Cap

1 - -4AN Bulkhead

1 - 1/4 NPT Plug

1 - Drain Kit

References

Catch Can Installation Instructions

Drain Kit Installation Instructions

Coolant Cap Update

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1639/5151/files/maperformance-map-evox-occ-rev2-30435605348422.jpg?v=1792539491
https://www.mobileigo.com/products/map-evo-x-catch-can-coolant-expansion-tank-by-map-2008-2015-mitsubishi-evo-x-evox-occ-rev2
