ICON engineers’ primary focus is to increase wheel travel and damping ability, which translates into outstanding vehicle control and ride quality both on and off-road. This Stage 7 system includes vehicle-specific tuned 2.5” coilover shocks featuring CDCV equipped remote reservoirs for exceptional cooling properties and ICON-engineered coil springs for superior vehicle “feel” through the range of travel. These coilovers, are also height adjustable for 2-3” of front lift over stock, allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations and their longer than stock length improves performance by increasing front wheel travel. Billet aluminum Delta Joint upper control arms not only add strength and durability but help retain factory alignment specs, offer on-vehicle caster\/camber adjustment, and allow proper wheel alignment at the lift height this system provides. The dual-rate rear coil design provides a softer ride height spring rate with a firmer overload rate that combine to deliver on-road comfort with excellent bottoming resistance and superior off-road performance. 1.5” of rear lift height over stock allows a for level stance front to rear. An adjustable rear track bar ensures proper rear axle alignment and removes bushing deflection caused by soft rubber, stock track bar bushings. Billet rear lower links feature PTFE-lined FK rod ends and multi durometer bushings for increased suspension articulation, reduced deflection, and on-vehicle link arm length adjustability. While the industry standard uniball does a great job of allowing the control arms of a vehicle to articulate with little bind, they do have an inherent weakness that leaves more to be desired when used in a daily driven application - exposure to the elements. The Delta Joint features a zinc plated housing providing the first layer of corrosion resistance, while a tough grease seal keeps potentially harmful elements out of the inner workings of the joint.
