The IACV is computer activated sensor which creates a controlled vacuum leak to help maintain a stable target idle. When properly connected, K-Pro and other K-Series programmable ecus will allow the tuner to enter a target rpm that the computer will reference. We still kept the bolt pattern from the 86-93 Ford Mustang 5.0L so the this throttlebody will bolt up perfectly to some of the bigger aftermarket intake manifolds just like our other 90mm designs. Our 80mm K-Series TB comes standard with 3.5\" hose barb inlet. We also have optional V-band or Vanjen (Wiggins style) inlets available separately. All of these inlets are interchangeable, so they bolt on easily and eliminate the need for any welding. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp align=\"justify\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe throttle body and inlet are o-ring sealed so there is no need for any gaskets. The OEM K-Series MAP sensor and IACV are both a direct bolt on, with the ports located on the bottom of the TB, where they are out of view for a cleaner look. You'll notice that we have two different part numbers listed for this K-Series TB, one option comes with a K TPS flange and the second option with a B TPS flange. Please note that the 5V signal range of both TPS sensors is identical so this option offers even more choice on the final intake setup. The throttle cable connection is made using a fully adjustable throttle rotor with 10 settings and a reversible throttle cable bracket. This bracket allows the user to run the cable on top like the OEM setup or tucked on the bottom. All K-Tuned Throttle Bodies are constructed with 6061 billet aluminum with a brass throttle blade and a stainless steel, center-less ground, throttle shaft that is leak tested to 90psi. We finish the strut piston with longstanding, high-heat rated double seals that are designed to take abuse without breaking a sweat, literally. No leaking struts here. The strut is the most important part of any suspension system. It determines the ride quality and the overall feel. K-Tuned does not just use a stiffer spring on the suspension to compensate for a poor quality strut; instead they made sure to start from scratch and build a complete coilover that will differentiate itself from the rest.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Next, K-Tuned pairs the struts with a high-tensile strength steel spring that is designed to last without sagging or premature wear. Bolted up to this flange you'll find the stock catalytic converter positioned right before the exhaust piping. It is pretty much common knowledge that stock catalytic converters can be very restrictive and when they are deleted or replaced with high flow units, the result is noticeable increases in performance.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe K-Tuned 9th Gen Civic downpipe completely replaces the factory cat section with a free flowing 3\" downpipe. K-Tuned started things off with a cast stainless steel housing, designed to offer a smooth transition from the head flange to the exiting 2-bolt exhaust flange. The T304 stainless 3\" diameter pipe section is beautifully tig welded and bolts up to the housing, before heading downward perfectly past the factory subframe and swaybar. Welded into the lower part of the downpipe is a high quality Vibrant Turbo Flex section with interlocking inner liner to absorb the normal engine movement. We are now releasing our 3rd revision of this pulley kit and again we have made a few changes to make our product even better. Taking a quick look back, we were the first company to offer this original design and we remain the only manufacturer that is using a dual pulley design that offers perfect belt alignment and stability, unlike some of the other the knock-off designs that are available. We are now pleased to say we did just that. The problem we had in the past was accessory belt manufacturers simply didnÍt carry the belt size that we needed. To solve this issue, we had a stronger, custom length 7-rib belt made specifically for our kit. This move finally allowed us to make our kit 100% universal. So now, if you have a K20, K24 or even an engine that is put together with a mix of parts, there will be no fitment issues at all, they can all use the same kit.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp align=\"justify\"\u003eThe K-Tuned A\/C \u0026amp; P\/S Eliminator Kit deletes A\/C, P\/S and the factory belt tensioner from the engine. The alternator is then relocated lower and moves to the original A\/C location, to increase clearance on even the tightest K-swap chassis. This part is particularly useful for EF K-swaps because it offers some much needed headlight clearance. If you want, you can even cut off the mounting tab that was used for the original tensioner.
